YOUR QUESTIONS
 

Q: When should we arrive?
A: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked time slot. This allows time for parking, check-in, and ensures your group boards the Ransoms Express on time.

Q: What happens if we’re late?
A: Due to the timed nature of the experience, late arrivals may miss their slot. We’ll always try to assist, but once the train departs, entry cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Is there parking on site?
A: Yes — free parking is available at Ransoms Garden Centre. On busy days, please allow extra time to find a space and reach the North Pole Station entrance.

Q: Can I bring a pram or pushchair?
A: Prams and pushchairs cannot be taken inside the grotto or onto the train. A covered buggy park is provided at the entrance.

Q: Is the experience accessible?
A: All guests must be physically able to board and sit on the miniature train. It is not recommended for non-ambulant visitors.
A dedicated route is available for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility to access Father Christmas and the main activity zones.

Q: What gifts will my child receive?
A: Each child will receive two gifts from Father Christmas — a wooden toy and a storybook to take home.
Guests booking the VIP Experience will also build their own premium teddy bear with Father Christmas.

Q: Can I take photos?
A: Personal photography is not permitted within the attraction, but you will be allowed to take a photo of your child with Father Christmas.
A professional photography service is also available if you’d like printed or digital keepsakes.

Q: Do adults need tickets?
A: Yes — every person entering the experience requires a ticket, including adults and children.
Babies under 12 months who do not require a gift may attend free of charge (please note this when booking).

Q: Can I add a personalised letter from Father Christmas?
A: Yes! You can add a personalised letter to be posted to your child before your visit for £9.
Simply select this option when booking your tickets.

Q: What should we wear?
A: The experience includes indoor and covered outdoor areas, so please dress warmly and wear suitable footwear for winter conditions.

Q: How long does the experience last?
A: Each visit lasts around 25 minutes from boarding to finish.
VIP sessions last approximately 35 minutes, allowing extra time with Father Christmas.

Q: Can I change my booking?
A: We’ll do our best to help, but due to high demand, booking changes are subject to availability and may not always be possible.
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Sorry — no pets are permitted inside the attraction, apart from Dude, the official event dog!

Q: Is there food and drink available?
A: Yes — Ransoms Café will be open daily for festive treats, hot drinks, and snacks before or after your visit.

Q: Is the experience undercover?
A: Yes — most of the attraction is within a heated and covered marquee, though you may move briefly between covered areas.

General

  • By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms set out below.

  • All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over).

Tickets

  • All guests entering the experience, including adults and children, must hold a valid ticket.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a booking is confirmed, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations, non-attendance, or late arrival.

  • Please arrive at the attraction at least 15 minutes before your booked time slot. Late arrivals may not be able to join a later session.

  • Babies under 12 months who do not require a gift may attend free of charge, but must still be listed on your booking.

  • Tickets must be shown on arrival (digital or printed).

Event Access & Safety

  • The experience includes a short ride on a miniature railway. All guests must be physically able to board and sit safely on the train.

  • The experience is not recommended for non-ambulant visitors, although a walking route is provided for wheelchair users.

  • Prams and pushchairs are not permitted inside the grotto or on the train — a covered storage area is provided.

  • Wolf Productions reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone behaving in a way that may affect the enjoyment or safety of others.

VIP & Add-Ons

  • VIP sessions and personalised Letters from Father Christmas are limited and subject to availability.

  • Add-ons are only valid for the booking they are purchased with and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Changes & Cancellations

  • In the unlikely event that the attraction is cancelled by the organisers, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

  • The organizer reserves the right to make minor alterations to the advertised experience, timings, or activities if necessary for safety or operational reasons.

Photography & Media

  • Personal photography is not permitted within the attraction, but you will be allowed to take a photo of your child with Father Christmas.

  • Professional photography services are available on site for an additional cost.

  • By entering the event, you consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed for promotional use by Northpole Jersey or Ransoms Garden Centre.

Data & Privacy

  • Personal information collected during the booking process (such as names, contact details, and personalisation notes for Father Christmas) is used solely to deliver your experience.

  • We do not share or sell personal data with third parties.

  • Your information is stored securely in accordance with UK and Jersey data protection laws and deleted once no longer required.

Weather & Force Majeure

  • The experience operates in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control, we may reschedule sessions for safety reasons.

  • No refunds will be issued for weather conditions outside the organiser’s control, every effort willbe made to re arrange your booking.

Pets

  • Pets are not permitted inside the attraction, apart from Dude — the official event dog!
